Support Us
When you give to the Children’s Museum, you impact the lives of thousands of children from every walk of life.
With support from the community, the museum is able to provide the exhibits, programs and events that motivate young children to embark on more complex learning – a process that benefits not only children and their own families, but all of us. The Board of Trustees works especially hard to make museum experiences possible for children who don’t typically have opportunities for hands-on learning, literacy development and art beyond their classrooms.
The Children’s Museum of Richmond receives no direct federal, state or local financial support. The museum relies on the generosity of the community, local businesses and foundations to provide disadvantaged children access to all the museum has to offer.
There are so many ways you can help support the museum in its mission to inspire all children by appealing to their natural capacity for curiosity, exploration and learning:
- Become a Visit Sponsorby donating $8 a month to allow museum access to disadvantaged children throughout the year.
- Support the Scholarship Fund to help Title I schools enjoy educational programs and museum exploration.
- Support the Annual Fund to help the museum meet its mission.
- Become a member of the Leadership Circle with your support of $1,000 or more.
- Sponsor exhibits, programs and events.
- Donate your time as a museum volunteer.
- Donate to the CMoR Wishlist.
