• I really enjoyed the cave. I liked being a producer. My group made a clock, a frisbee, a hat, and a necklace.

  • The most things I liked was the cave and I liked the news studio.
It made me feel like I was a real adult.

Trikes for Tykes

Become A Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer during the 2nd Annual Trikes for Tykes fundraising event to benefit the Children’s Museum: Fredericksburg!

Volunteers will help us to facilitate the festival in a variety of ways.
Here are some of the ways you can help!

Festival Setup: Volunteers will assist with yard games, educational and art activities.

Floater: Would you like to volunteer where help is needed most? Volunteer floaters are assigned to an area when they arrive at the Festival to check in for their shift. Volunteer floaters are very important to the changing demands of a busy festival.

Race Monitors:  Volunteers will help with check-in, race instruction, selling water balloons, timing the race, and safety.

Volunteer Check-In: Trikes for Tykes is expecting to fill 60 volunteer shifts. A warm welcome is a very important part of the volunteers' experience. You will greet volunteers as they arrive for their shifts, check them in for their shifts, give them nametags, directions, and give them water.
