artoberVA Tuesdays 
Come out and join the Chidren’s Museum’s education team in the art studio at the Children’s Museum Downtown for an exciting and creative workshop that explores various materials perfect for early learners to experiment with. All materials will be provided and you get to take home your final product!

artoberVA Family Time

Every Monday and Thursday in October the museum’s Family Engagement instructors will guide parents, caregivers, and kids through STEAM activities. Adult involvement is a must! Locations vary- check Full Calendar for details.

Mondays: Pattern Recognition! Join us for a fun and stimulating pattern recognition activity, that will help your child use their reasoning skills and make logical connections! Series begins Monday, October 8.

Thursdays: Can You Build It? An exploration the art of architecture while growing fine motor and problem solving skills! Series begins Thursday, October 4.

Spooky fun awaits at the 18th Annual Halloween Hoopla on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm! Dress up in your favorite costume (you too, Mom & Dad!) and head down to the Children’s Museum Downtown (2626 W Broad Street) for an afternoon of trick-or-treating, pumpkin experiments, and MORE!

Advanced registration for Halloween Hoopla is suggested.
