Availability

Field trips are available September - June,
Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 am -1:00 pm

Groups Visits are visits to the museum without an educational program.
Group visits are available year round from 9:00 am - 4:00 p.m.

Arrival Procedures

1) All groups must enter through the group entrance doors. When facing the museum, these doors are located to the left. There will be a sign outside to direct your group to the group entrance.

**Please note – group entrance doors cannot be used to go in and out of the museum during the visit. If members of your group need to leave and come back, please use the main entrance doors.

At CMoR Chesterfield, groups may enter and exit through the front doors.

2) Your group will be greeted by a Museum Educator. She will direct your group to the proper location. She will present a brief orientation to address museum manners and review your group’s program schedule.

3) The Group Education Coordinator will check in with the lead teacher to collect a head count of students, teachers and chaperones. The Group Education Coordinator will also process the group’s payment.

4) A sticker will be given to each participant in the group. Teachers, please ensure stickers are visible at all times.

*Storage: The museum has storage bins available for lunches, jackets and any other belongings. Storage bins will display your group’s name.

Price

All programs are $8.00 per student. Field Trip Programs include unlimited time to explore and play in the Museum! Museum memberships, coupons and tickets do not apply toward field trip admission costs.

Your class could qualify for a scholarship visit.

Thanks to contributions from the community, the Children's Museum offers scholarship funding to Title 1 Schools, Head Start programs and other groups who demonstrate financial need. If your class qualifies, the scholarship will help reduce the admission price per student. Our Field Trip Coordinator can give you more information when you register for a field trip.
