Lights, Camera, Action! Camp-In

Saturday, March 20th at 6:30pm- Sunday, March 21st at 8:00am

You bring your sleeping bag and tooth brush and we provide the fun!

Join our cast and crew on an exciting adventure of the imagination. Petals and Try-its based on music, movement, acting and theatre design will be highlighted in this Camp-in. Troops can choose from a variety of performing arts based petals/ try-it workshops lead by Museum Educators.

Petals: Friendly and Helpful, Responsible for What I Say and Do, Be A Sister to Every Girl Scout, Respect Myself and Others

Try-its: Me and My Shadow, Let’s Pretend, Puppets Dolls and Plays, Making Music, Dancercize, Write Away

Camp-in Prices

$35.00 per child and includes three exciting petal/try-it workshops, large group activities, an evening snack, free play in the Museums exhibits, breakfast and a Children’s Museum of Richmond patch.
$20.00 per adult (1 adult per 4 children is required)

Camp-In Registration Policies:

-A minimum of one adult per 4 scouts is required for all Camp-Ins, you are welcome to bring additional -adults. All adults are $20.00 each.
-A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to book an overnight.
-Full payment is required two weeks prior to the event.
-The Museum reserves the right to cancel due to insufficient registrations two weeks before the event. In this case we will try to reschedule your troop. If we are unable to reschedule you, all deposits and fees will be refunded.

• All Camp-ins at The Children’s Museum of Richmond feature tons of hands-on activities, three exciting petal/try-it workshops, large group activities, an evening snack, free play in the Museums exhibits, breakfast and a Children’s Museum of Richmond patch.
