CMoR Art Classes June 5, 2008 to June 27, 2008

Learn papermaking, drawing, watercolor and more in these 45-minute art classes.

Classes for 3 – 6 year-olds are offered every Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Children must be accompanied by an adult. To view the class schedule, click here!

Prices are $10 per child; additional museum admission is required for non-members. Pre-registration is required, please call (804) 474-7015.

Seymour's Rockin' Racin' Patron Party June 6, 2008

CMoR patron members are invited to our exclusive BackYard 500 pre-race party! Guests will enjoy an evening of entertainment, music, and light refreshments. Kids can choose a pedal car and be the first to ride around the track prior to the next day’s public Pedal Car Tournament. BackYard 500 Pedal Car Tournament June 7, 2008

All local area youngsters are invited to take part in Richmond’s first-ever Pedal Car Tournament!

Participants will register in CMoR’s BackYard, choose among the 15 sponsored self-propelled cars, and then race around the track. All riders will receive a finisher’s medal and be entered into a drawing to win their very own pedal car! This event is free with museum admission.

Activities:

  • DJ Manny Green, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Moon Bounce
  • Face Painting
  • Photographs ($10 for 5” x 7”)
  • Art studio projects
  • Balloons
  • Helmets will NOT be available; race participants are encouraged to bring helmets if desired.
  • Register to win your very own pedal car!

Join us on a world tour of taste, texture, and cooking fun. Our journey begins with a healthy appetite and ends with a happy tummy.
