Toddler Time January 8, 2008

Toddler Time is a special program that takes place on the second Tuesday of each month.

Programs are designed for children ages 1 – 3 plus a special grown-up and incorporate elements of music, art, literacy and more.

CMoR Art Classes January 10, 2008 to January 31, 2008

9:30 AM - 10:15 AM - every 1 week

Learn papermaking, drawing, watercolor and more in these 45-minute art classes.

Classes are offered every Thursday for 3-5 year olds (class begins at 9:30 a.m.) and 6-8 year olds (class begins at 3:30 p.m.) with an accompanying adult. To view the class schedule, click here!

Virginia State Yo-Yo Competition January 26, 2008

Check Out The Virginia State Yo-Yo Competition!

For the second year, the Virginia State Yo-Yo Competition will be held at the Children’s Museum of Richmond. Four divisions will be available: Beginner (8 years old and younger), Sport Ladder (age divisions), 1A Freestyle, and Open Division. World record attempts will also be recorded. Kids of all ages are invited to compete and watch as some of the top regional and national yo-yoers perform. The Virginia State Yo-Yo Contest is sanctioned by the American Yo-Yo Association.
