VMFA and CMoR Team Up!
We are very excited about the Grand Opening of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts that took place just a few short weeks ago right down the road from us! Have you been by yet to check out all of the amazing art? We are very honored to announce that we are partnering with the VMFA to celebrate their upcoming stained glass exhibit “Tiffany: Color and Light”, which opens on May 28th.
Next time you visit the museum, stop by the Art Studio to make your very own piece of stained glass! Well, it will actually be created from colorful tissue and construction paper. Children (and adults too!) will be able to create their art and be a part of a special stained glass exhibit right here at CMoR!
We are encouraging all of the children to put you name on your unique piece of stained glass and turn it in at the Art Studio to be displayed in the front window of the CMoR. If you are feeling extra creative, you can make 2 pieces and take one home with you to show your support for CMoR and the VMFA and what they do for our community. We want everyone to see your work shine and sparkle at CMoR and at home!
