Does CMoR provide food for the party? 
You are responsible for bringing in any food, cake, or beverages. We provide all paper products, cups, and utensils, along with your own dedicated Birthday Buddy to assist with setup, serving, and cleanup. Add on great food from Ledo's Pizza! Have Ledo's delivered to your birthday party at CMoR and save 20%. Just mention this offer when placing your order (delivery only). Please review Host Responsibilities here.

Help! I forgot the candles!
Don't fret. CMoR has a party kit on hand with all of those last minute items that you will need, include a cake knife, candles, lighter and serving gloves.

What about ice?
CMoR had ice available on hand for cooling drinks during your party.

Is there a place to store any food or drinks before the party?
We have limited space on site to store any food or drink items before a party. If you need to store any items, please contact our Party&Rental Coordinator at (804)474-7022 or birthdays@c-mor.org to check on available space.

How many children are included in the party package?
Every package includes museum admission, party favors, and activities for 14 children, plus the birthday child is free! Additional children may be added for $15. The party package also includes unlimited adult chaperons.

What if one of the party guests is under 1?
Only children between ages 1-12 are considered party guests, and therefore, included in the count.

What if I want to extend my party time?
Party times may not be extended past the 90 minute time frame. You will have 15 minutes once the party is over to leave the room. Even though the party is over, that doesn't mean the fun has to stop! You and your guests have unlimited time to explore the museum before and after your party.

How early can I arrive for my party.
You and your guests will have unlimited playtime in the museum before and after your party. If you would like to bring in food or any other items, your private party room will be available for you 15 minutes prior to the time of your party.

What is in the goody bags?
Every child that attends your party will receive a special balloon and goody bag full of a variety of fun toys and prizes. The toys and prizes change on a regular basis so that there is always something new and exciting.

Should I tip my Birthday Buddy?
While tips are appreciated, the choice to tip your Birthday Buddy is completely up to you. Tips can be made in cash, or you can also add them onto your credit card when checking out at the end of your party.
