CMoR Birthday Party Packages are designed for families who enjoy an exciting, well-organized party in a one-of-a-kind learning environment!

The party fun starts in a special celebration room, and continues with exploration of the entire Museum! At CMoR you’ll host a fun-filled, memorable event for your child at one of Richmond’s top birthday destinations.

What do I get with a CMoR Birthday Party Package?

  • Set-up and clean-up by Museum staff
  • A birthday buddy to assist with party activities
  • Full Museum admission for your guests before or after the party
  • CMoR party invitations
  • Exclusive 1 ½ hour use of a party room. The first hour will include games and activities facilitated by the birthday buddy. The final ½ hour can be dedicated to gifts and cake.
  • Goody bag and balloon for each child

What is the cost of a CMoR Birthday?

  • $210 for CMoR members and $240 for non-members.
  • The cost includes 10 children and 10 adults.
  • There is a surcharge of $15 for every extra child (Maximum capacity of 15 children per party); extra adults are free.
  • A $100 deposit is required in order to secure a reservation date and time.
  • Full payment is due on the party date.

What themes are available?

Dino Bash

  • Play dinosaur games, play with dinosaur toys and create dinosaur art.

Princess Party

  • Treat the birthday girl to a day of royalty, playing games and creating regal crafts.

Fun & Games

  • Enjoy playing popular party games that are fun and rewarding for children of all ages.

What age should my child be for a CMoR birthday?

  • Ideal ages for our themes, activities and crafts range from 2 to 8.

What times are available for a party?

Available times are:

Saturdays:

  • 10:00 – 11:30
  • 12:30 – 2:00
  • 3:00 – 4:30

Sundays:

  • 12:30 – 2:00
  • 3:00 – 4:30

Tues-Fri:

  • 3:00 – 4:30

What are the birthday add-on options?

  • $100 for a Moon Bounce.
  • Add-ons are based on availability

Reservations are accepted up to 6 months prior to party date. For reservations cancelled one month or more prior to the party date, full payment will be refunded. Party dates and times reserve quickly, so don’t delay!

How do I make a reservation?
